  1. Why would a Christian be interested in denying health care and other benefits to working Americans? The logic of yr prayer is what?

  2. Mark, thanks for sharing your thoughts here as well.

Denying health care? Sounds more like special benfits are being applied to couples due to their sexual preferences. If heterosexual couples who aren't married don't receive similar benefits, seems like they are being discriminated against.

Elevating relationships outside of marriage to receive the same benefits as a legal marriage is unwise. Plus, I'm against any additional spending that attempts to redefine marriage.

  3. Well, straight people can register for domestic partnership, too. So, again what is Christian about deny working Americans access to partner benefits? would Jesus sit there an go "No, you can't have health care, your're gay!" No he wouldn't.

Whether you like it or not, persons are going to have these relationships. People are going to have families that don't look anything like straight married folx. I myself have gay fathers who have been together for decades. They deserve every single right that every other american has. And I want to the law to recognize our family as a family, cause that's what we are. That doesn't infringe on the rights of christians or anyone else. It's nothing but fair.
